About Nancy

As my parents were aging, one with her body in great shape and her mind slowly fading away, and the other with his body deteriorating and his mind as sharp as a tack, I worked through the grief of watching this journey by writing. This anticipatory grief was aided by being able to verbally express my thoughts and feelings at a keyboard. By the time that they both passed, I already had the words to mark their lives. I was honored to be able to write both of their obituaries.  Friends and family, then asked for help finding the words as their loved ones moved along as well. I have been blessed to be able to walk alongside them in their grief and help them find the words to tell the stories of  the lives of their lost loved ones. I have been able to do it through obituaries, prayers of the faithful in liturgical settings, eulogies, and limerick toasts. Grief and loss come with many faces. In addition to the loss of people, I have written obituaries for pets and even for a beloved store that was closing. I am know as a compassionate obituary writer and wordsmith for funeral services.
